While Humans may lack the longevity of Elves, the nimbleness of the Hin, or the heartiness of Dwarves, they more than make up for it in two things: Ingenuity and reproduction.

Due to their prodigious ability to increase their numbers, and the quick decision making (relative to the other races), and proclivity to make these decisions based on emotions; Humans were well situated to usurp the elves and become the dominant race after the Second Elven War of Extermination and subsequent fall of the Elven First Empire.
Since then, humans of Rymura have built a continent spanning empire, had that same empire crumble to dust, and have witnessed numerous kingdoms rise from the ashes.

Offspring of a human and a halfling. The Teeque's inclined to a human lifestyle generally do not have problems being accepted into human towns and cities because their smaller stature and weight make them appear less threatening to the average citizen.
